- What is LearnX Builder?
- A three-month course for ages 11–13 who are ready to build real things — real web pages with code, a small brand, data stories, and AI used responsibly — adding each to a growing portfolio.
- Is my child the right age?
- Builder is for ages 11–13, built by readiness, not just a birthday — a short, playful check decides the right starting level, so a confident younger child or a beginner older child is welcome. An Explorer graduate or a capable beginner fits well.
- Does my child need experience or a computer?
- No coding experience is required — Builder starts from the basics. Some comfort with a computer helps; a shared machine works, and unplugged options cover device gaps.
- Is it online or at the centre?
- Mostly online — light weekend sessions your child joins from home across the three months. There are also in-person practical days at the centre; depending on your location and availability, your child can learn fully online or come in for the practical sessions.
- How much time does it take each week?
- About one 75–90 minute session per weekend across the three months, with optional practice at home. It fits around school, church and other weekend commitments — never to add pressure.
- Is it safe for my child?
- Safety is built in. Children learn online safety from the first mission; any lesson videos are private (unlisted) and watched only inside our platform; and we never publish a child’s name or face without your permission. Builder also teaches cyber-safety in depth — strong passwords, spotting scams, and owning their digital footprint.
- What will my child have at the end?
- A styled web page they coded, a brand kit, a data story, an honest AI-assisted campaign, and a portfolio capstone presented at Demo Day — plus a Builder Graduate certificate.
